The route
The ST209 numbered route from Esztergom rail station east through the western and central Pilis ridge to the Dobogókő plateau. About twenty-five kilometres with a steady five-hundred-metre net climb — workable in a long day or split with an overnight at Klastrompuszta. Bus access at the Dobogókő finish for the return to Budapest.
