The route
A long K+ traverse from the Remete-hegyi-tisztás clearing past the edge of the Pilis and down through Pesthidegkút to the Erdőalja út bus stop in northwest Budapest. Mostly downhill overall, mixed oak and pine forest with several open clearings. Useful when you want a one-way day finishing back in the city.
