The route
A Z (yellow stripe) traverse from the Esztergom mountain hut over the Maróti-hegyek and on to Pilisszentkereszt. Less foot-trafficked than the Dobogókő-side trails, with long forested stretches and one open ridge section across the Maróti-hegyek. The Esztergom end is a short bus ride from the city; Pilisszentkereszt has direct buses to Pomáz and Szentendre.
