The route
A moderate Z+ traverse linking the Égett-hárs and the Hoffmann-vadászház hunting lodge over the Szakó-nyereg pass and along the Jász-hegy. Mature beech forest most of the way with one open clearing at the nyereg. The Hoffmann-vadászház is a working forestry lodge — quiet on weekdays, busier when there's a hunt scheduled.
